In 1998 he switched to EuroVideo – a joint venture with Bavaria Media – to develop the DVD business there. In autumn 1999 he went to the Tele Muenchen Group subsidiary Concorde Home Entertainment, where he was appointed Managing Director in 2002.

In August last year, Michael Ivert had given up his managing position at Concorde Home Entertainment after 20 successful years.

Over these past two decades Ivert has played a key role in shaping the Munich independent provider in a dynamic market environment and contributed to its success.

During that time he was responsible for the release of many outstanding film titles, including blockbusters such as TOMB RAIDER, IRON MAN and the TWILIGHT franchise series, just to name a few, but also sophisticated European cinema productions, highlights of film history and family entertainment. A major highlight of his work was undoubtedly the German market launch and enduring success of the multi-award-winning British TV series SHAUN DAS SCHAF.
